Hands-on Workshop on Translation Memory tools

Taking as an example the TM system SDL Trados, the workshop shows an example of a typical workflow in a small translation project. The participants will act as translators working on a project including the following tasks:

1. Creating and populating a Translation Memory with translation units contained in an existing source language document and its target language version
2. Populating a terminology database with a small glossary
3. Analysing and pre-translating a new source language document similar to the texts previously aligned and imported into the TM.
4. Finishing translation and saving it in the original document format.
